The 2017-2018 ESO Subscription Series will feature some of the very finest classical and popular symphonic music ever written. The season begins with Father and Son Piano Duo Ryan and Ryan. Not one, but two grand pianos onstage with the ESO will showcase their talents. Their performances will put a jazzy spin on such favorites as Smile, You Raise Me Up, The Best is yet to Come and What a Wonderful World. To round out the evening, Ryan and Ryan will share the spotlight in a duo piano performance of George Gershwin's electrifying Rhapsody in Blue.

November brings Irving Berlin's musical White Christmas to our stage featuring native Enid talents Brock Johnson and Lindsey Newell as Bob Wallace and Betty Haynes. Does anyone remember them as Curly and Laurie in the 2004 Enid High School production of Oklahoma!? The cast will also feature Ashley Curtright as Judy Haynes, the tap dancing younger sister of the Haynes Sisters Duo. Hit songs from the show include White Christmas, Count Your Blessings, I Love a Piano and Sisters. With stage direction by Jason Maly, you can expect more sizzle in a snow storm than you ever anticipated.

You may purchase discounted tickets to the first two shows of the season as the Hot and Cold ticket package. Simply log on to www.enidsymphony.org.

February brings internationally renowned violinist Lee Chin to our stage. Lee will be performing the hauntingly beautiful Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto composed in the late 1950's by He Zhanhao and Chen Gang. The program will also feature Tschaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, one of the most well known classics in the symphonic repertoire.

In March we will welcome a return visit by Mariangela Vacatello to our hall. Mariangela will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, No. 4, opus 58. You deserve to enrich your life by attending this virtuoso interpretation of Beethoven's captivating introspective music.

Get Happy! Chanteuse Joan Ellison performs Judy Garland's greatest hits! What better way to welcome Spring as we conclude the 2017-2018 ESO season. Joan will bring many of Judy Garland's original charts to life once again! A dazzling performer, Joan has recently been appointed editor of the 1961 Judy Garland Carnegie Hall Concert Restoration Project partnering with Michael Feinstein and Judy Garland Heirs Trust. It is indeed an honor to present this amazing performer with the ESO.

That's what this season is all about. Now its your turn to log on and order your tickets today at www.enidsymphony.org.
