The Park Avenue Thrift Young Artist Competition is now open! This competition invites Oklahoma residents aged 18 and under to showcase their musical talent for a chance to perform with the Enid Symphony Orchestra and win cash prizes.

Prizes:

• 1st Place: $500 + performance at the Mozart in Jeans concert (April 2026)

• 2nd Place: $250

• 3rd Place: $100

Competition Details:

• Open to all instruments

• Repertoire: at least one movement of a standard concerto of no shorter than 8 minutes in length.

• Applicants submit pre-screening recordings for initial review — no accompaniment required. Video length of no more than 10 minutes. Cuts are acceptable.

• Selected finalists perform live with accompaniment for a panel of ESO judges. Movements must be performed in their entirety.

Important Dates:

• Application & Pre-screening Deadline: February 4, 2026

• Live Audition Round: February 22, 2026

Applicants must be available for both the live audition and concert if selected.
