Enid Symphony Orchestra

A Silver Season

Celebrating 25 Years of Musical Elegance in Joan Allen Symphony Hall

The concept for the Enid Symphony Center was envisioned by ESO Music Director Douglas Newell in 1998, who led the effort to raise $3.2 million to renovate the hall. With massive community support & tireless dedication his vision came to life in October of 1998 with the performance of Act II of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” This season marks the 25th anniversary of the premiere performance in the Symphony Hall named after beloved community icon & endeared friend Joan Allen.
