As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Enid Symphony Orchestra in Joan Allen Symphony Orchestra, our Silver Soiree annual gala on Saturday, February 24, 2024 will benefit Carnegie Hall Link UP children’s concerts on March 7. We invite nearly two thousand 3rd-5th graders from around Enid, including public, private, and homeschooled children. This year’s theme is The Orchestra Sings, where children will get the chance to sing, play recorder, and dance.
Since the inception of this project, we perform these concerts for free so that they are accessible to any child who wishes to participate. We provide the music, training, instruments, and more to ensure that students have everything they need. We need your help to keep these concerts free so that all Enid children have access to Classical music.
We are raising $25,000 for our 25th anniversary Silver Season. Every little bit counts. $350 sponsors a musician. $500 sponsors the concertmistress. $1000 sponsors the music teacher guest soloists. $2000 guarantees that these concerts are free for our children. $5000 guarantees that all students have recorders and the means to participate.
Our Silver Soiree fundraiser will have gambling, hors d’oeuvres, live music, raffles, and more. It will be a fun evening for friends, dates, colleagues, family…but in the end, everything goes towards the benefit of our musical children.
